BIM-compatible outline
New possibilities for civil engineering and infrastructure construction
We are pleased to inform you about a working group with the CRB, ABBF Bausoft AG in the field of "BIM-compatible outline for civil engineering and infrastructure construction" and a research project of a recognised university in the USA.
The BIM-compatible outline enables the digital exchange of data in the CAD model with any construction administration software. This digital data exchange is ensured by mapping the construction cost plan for civil engineering eBKP-T with the future IFC 5.x standard, which is being developed specifically for infrastructure construction by buildingSMART International.
In addition to clients and planners, contractors should also be able to use these new possibilities of the BIM methodology in the future. Therefore, they will also be involved in the development of the BIM-compatible elements during the process.
